Wordless Wednesday Ninja Style!

Lego Ninjago is all the rage around here – especially since Harrison stumbled upon it on the Cartoon Network.

So it’s wasn’t surprising when the only thing he wanted from out visit to China Town a couple months ago was a Sensei Wu-style hat.
(well, at least until he saw the faux nun-chucks on the way to the car that is.)

Who knew those VBS survivor style buffs would come in so handy for so long!

Just watch your back, you never know when a stealth ninja warrior may sneak up on you in the dark.

Because he really will be Wordless.

WW | So Many Pencils, So Little Time

Honestly, I don't recall Big Brother getting so many pencils in school and I think I collected maybe this many pencils during my entire school experience including high school!

Yet, just over half way through the year he already had a Fist Full of Pencils.

I think when all is said and done tomorrow, he will have averaged about three pencils a month for the last 10 months. (This is why I added a pencil sharpener to Harrison's party goodie bags.)


And that was only Kindergarten.

Wordless Wednesday | The Eddie Café

After making breakfast with me, he became inspired - once again - and soon concocted several dishes at his latest eatery, the Eddie Café.


This special dish had a great name; but it has since escaped me. Good thing it's WORDLESS Wednesday.

My personal favorite {Harrison created} restaurant was "Hot Naked" because "it's spicy hot and you tear off the skins of the fruits and veggies to eat them".

And when Harrison dressed up for "Red Ribbon Week" as a scientist (the best we could come up with) and {very} reluctantly posed for a quick pictures... Well, one word came to mind. Ralphie.

Luckily, no Red Ryder BB gun here; but let's hope he doesn't stick his tongue to a frozen metal flag pole when we visit the Midwest this winter.

Remember the days when merry-go-rounds were common in every park? We spent hours playing on it, balancing in the middle with no hands; running around pushing and chasing it, getting it spinning faster to the perfect speed and then - just at the right time - jumping on!

(and hoping we never fly off ... again...'cause most of us who ever rode on one flew off at least once.)

Lucky for me - he didn't fly off once.
