Like he’s been playing ball for a long time.
So official, with his mitt up to catch the balls that come in.
Keeping a neat little pile next to him…

Wouldn’t it work better to catch balls with his eyes open?
That’s what I’m thinking.
Keep your eyes open to catch the baseballs – yup. That’s the trick.
*Tonight he kept his eyes opened and caught several balls, including a couple great plays on first base getting a couple batters out and received the game ball.
