Sunday it rained.
No, it poured!
Harrison wanted to play outside despite the wet ground and misty air, so I bundled him up and let him go out. After all, everyone needs to go play in the rain sometimes. And this time I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to be out in the rain.
I had no idea that it would come down in sheets! One moment it was misty the next moment we were drenched! Even the GID was amazed at how the suddenly the rain fell & how hard. Like buckets of water being dumped on us!
So my best shot for this cool, overcast Monday is from yesterday. Given the hard rain, trying to hold an umbrella (WITH A HOLE IN IT!) and the wind whipping around - all while trying to manage my point and shoot. Well, I'm lucky I got anything!

He looks like he's having so much fun! We actually got a reverse 911 call for flooding, but fortunately no floods here! But, man it sure did come down, huh? Just when I was starting to not believe those weather men!! :)

that first shot is awesome! I really love it. VERY well done considering the conditions you had. Sometimes it's good to have a PAS - I'd be afraid to take my baby into the rain! I think we'll have to do some puddle jumping next time it rains.
I love that - every kid MUST dance around in the rain with an umbrella! I love the one of his boots where you can see the colors of the umbrella (WITH A HOLE IN IT!) on the pavement. I believe I need to have a few more moments of dancing in the rain this year myself!

Awww!!! Too cute! I love the singing in the rain idea. Maybe next time it's raining here (like tomorrow or any day for the next 7 days!) I can take M out for a walk in the rain.
