Big Brother

I can't tell you how much Harrison loves and admires his big brother. Every moment he gets, he steals into big Brother's room to hang out with him, even if it means just sitting in a comfy chair and playing with a Star Wars toy while Big Brother does things on the computer.

In January, we started hosting a weekly home group at our house, Big Brother is helping out look after the kids during the 2 hour evening. Harrison LOVES his uninterrupted play time with his big brother (and isn't too concerned that he has to share that time).

On Friday, we got home from preschool/work and Harrison immediately ran up to Big Brother's room. I had to get on the computer and finish up a couple things, then run to the store. Before I left for the store, I went up to check on them only to find Harrison crashed - sound asleep - in the chair in Big Brother's room. He took over a two hour nap in that chair!

Big Brother is about to graduate high school and is preparing for college. Crazy. Wasn't it just yesterday that he was nine years old and going to Legoland, Mt. Rushmore and the poppy fields with us?

He's a young man now - about to turn 19 in just a few short months.

Here are a few shots that I took for Big Brother last week. One of these days we'll even get a couple printed.

We love you Big Brother!

What a handsome young man - and more important, sounds like he's a GOOD young man! Fantastic images of him. His gaze in that first one is so soulful.
