I'm Ready for My Close Up...

My annual pass officially expired last Thursday, I don't know when we will renew; but it's been a sweet journey that I will post more about over the next couple days. In the mean time here is my best shot for Monday.

EEK! Wait that's Darth Maul! Quick, someone purchase him a dental plan!!

(I'm actually quite happy with these because I shot them completely back lit not knowing if I got the focus right in my 30 seconds of time; I used fill light in Lightroom afterward and found happy [Star Wars Love] results.)

We went to the Jedi Training one more time at Harrison's request, he opted to just watch and enjoy.

Shortly thereafter the Darths arrived!

As you see, Darth Maul came and gave us some nice personal close ups.

We loved it.
Not everyone loved it as much as we did.

Here is my best shot from the Jedi Training Academy. Maybe by the time we make another visit to Disneyland Harrison will be ready to take on Darth Vader first hand!

(Click on the picture for a close up from Flickr, Blogger is doing weird things to my pictures today...or not even uploading them at all! Anyone else experience this?)

Best Shot Monday is hosted by Tracey at Mother May I - check her out for more best shots!

Great shots. It looks like everything behind him in the last is moving at warp speed- very cool!

Wow, I don't remember Darth Maul's teeth being that bad in the movie! ;) You captured them maybe a little closely. LOL

I like your best shot, the fading around the edges and the color saturation make it a nice vibrant shot. And I can't help but wonder if that is the look of, wow, maybe someday I can do that too. :)

Oh and Darth Maul's no fan of mine either! I think I would have been crying right about then....:)

Is that really Harrison in that last one? He looks so grown up!

I am going to have to show those Darth Maul close-ups to my Star Wars crazed son.

Oh, no, that can't be Harrison. He looks too big, too much older. That last portrait is fabulous. Gosh, he is a looker.

How differently we spend our time at Disney! We've never seen the Star Wars thing - but the Princess Faire? Every.Time.We.Go.

Only so many times you can hear Belle read a story! :-)

I love the last photo of Harrison!

The little padawan looks like he was enjoying watching the training. I bet he loves looking at the wonderful pictures of Darth Maul that his momma got. :) He is a serious cool bad guy. ;)
