Theme Thursday - Let's go Fly a Kite
We went to the kite festival a few weeks ago and it was a bust. No wind. The following week - wind, wind everywhere and not a kite in sight.
Even on non-windy days, it's still fun to fly a kite.
We tried and tried...
And tried again.
Finally, we went on our way, kite in hand to try another day.

I agree with maggie - I LOVE the last shot, perfect selective color - no matter if you flew the kite or not, it looks like fun was had by all!
Oh...that last photo is so perfect! BEAUTIFUL...and you had a fun day at the beach...so it is ok that the kite didn't actually get up!

kite flying is actually one thing I've never done! We'll have to change that. the last shot is great, but I actually love the b&w of Harrison and his Daddy best of all.
