Theme Thurday - Texture - 2 years old
I used texture to mask and darken the background. His eyes are still blue but they got lost in the upload. Hmm.
Maybe I will revisit this picture and try some fun brushes in that dark area. Nothing more for now. But don't leave without stopping over at Stacy's place for more texture loveliness.

Wow I love this ! When you say ... mask the background. What does that mean ? How is it different from darkening it ? I'm so new at this ... gotta ask questions whenever I don't know something !!! :) I hope you figure out how to repost this with the blue ... I think that would make this look even cooler !!
Neat :) It's almost like spiderweb...which looks great in this application. Nice job!
Very nice! It looks like a cover to a movie. Beautiful little man you have there.
I love this! What a little cutie, and it does look like it could be a movie poster.
wow! that is very cool - i hate it when i upload something and the color just isn't the same. let me know if you figure out why that happens!
i love that hair over his eye. i wonder what happened to that blue? definitely repost -- i love blue eye pop!
I love the hair over the eye, so James Dean coolish! LOL Great job with the texture!
Really cool! I love how it feels like I'm looking at him through the fog. It does look like a movie poster!
Lovely edit. I like the black and white and the addition of the grainy look to it reminds me of old film.
Very cool!!!
It almost looks as though he's looking through a rainy window. Love the effect of the texture on this one!
Great job with the texture - that looks great!
I agree about the movie poster. I am sorry the blue didn't work out and I bet it would just make the image pop. But as it is now, it is awesome. Great job!
VERY cool!! I love it!
Aww... I love the little bit of hair in his eye. I know, that's the photo, itself. I like the texture, too. :-)
HI :)
You asked about my frames - I did NOT make them, I wish. I got them from a "friend" on ebay and here is her link. They are pretty easy to use and change colors, sizes, proportions etc... I LOVE them.

There alot to choose from too!!
I also have some action/frames but my friend isn't selling those any more - don't know why.
You could create your own frame actions. . . . I've been thinking about doing it.
Good luck :)

AWESOME awesome job. The shot alone is stellar, but with the texture it's fantastic.
The light and dark contrast in this shot is fantastic...well done :)
