Sad. I know.
But I dropped all that to hang out with Harrison; and out of the blue he asked if he could wash dishes. Wash Dishes?
Not the bonding play time I had imagined today. [And that is why I LOVE kids.]
We were together all the same; and I, as the mommy, needed to stop working and just relax with my child.
So I was focused, we had fun, I took pictures. They weren't all in focus. I'm not feeling the love for my Casio point & shoot. But not all was lost and here are a few shots. Later I'll create another story board; after work, laundry, and some reading... Oh well.
Maybe while Harrison is napping I'll go focus on making a latte, now there is love!
In the meantime, if you haven't already donesi, go focus on some other wonderful shots at the Land of K.A. Even more love there!

I love that first shot...very cool! Kids are so fun, and he looks like he was having lots of fun there. :)
I was all set to say that the first shot was definitely my favorite...and then I saw the collage at the bottom...and THAT is fantastic!
You are so talented!
Clean Harrison, clean! haha.
Great shots!
that first pic is really cool but i also like the "thought process" paragraph. how many times i have done just that- deepbreathireallywanttodomythingbutif isayyesiwillbethekindofmomireallyhopetobe.
yep. been there. good for you!!!!!
You got some fun shots. You've got a terrific eye! What is it about kids and water?
I really like how you edited your shots, especially the one with him standing on the chair. I always forget to shoot those everyday events, like washing dishes. Great job.
I LOVE that first one of the tap and water spray. And the rest are all really great too! I like your collage, what a fun series! I think you do a great job with your p&s.
ahh yes, we've had dish washing marathons almost every day lately! As soon as I turn on the water, there she is. LOL!
Your photos are getting better and better! I love the creative first one, and the collage is great.
I honestly can not think of anything more wonderful...you just doing the dishes with your handsome little guy! The photos are phenomenal! Kim is right; you do have a great eye. I love all of the shots...the variation from b&w to the color collage. Very nice.
Girl, I am constantly amazed at the photos and grahic work on your blog! You were made for blogging...
I am not sure where else to put this message, but I had to say how much I enjoyed your comment to my Thursday Theme! I am sorry for your loss (the birds) but I find it so funny that we both seem to have had animals named after Shakespearian characters though not really. The daughter's first boyfriend was Horatio, and everyone thought the cat was named for him. Go figure...By the way, I saw a film of the R&G verison long ago- hilarious.
Also, I TOTALLY agree- the original CSI wins every time! ;)
Holy cow. If my kids would clean I'd get the camera out too.
I love the one of him at the sink. Did you notice his reflection in the fridge?
Great pictures. I love the bubbles. I really like the colored series. The blues of the sponge, dishes and his clothes really make a great visual!
